About Karie Jean the Cookie Queen
My passion for baking started years ago in my grandmother's kitchen when my sister and I would bake our favorite cookies on summer visits to her home. Later, my mother shared a scrumptious recipe for chocolate chip cookies that became a favorite with many friends and family members.The Everything Good Cookie originated out of requests from friends and family who enjoyed snacking on the chocolate chip cookies but wanted a healthy alternative. Loaded with nutritious ingredients, including nuts, a variety of seeds, dried fruit and oats, The Everything Good Cookie is a delicious nutrition bar that lives up to its name!
The Backcountry Bar is the same healthy treat as The Everything Good Cookie. It was named by my brother-in-law who enjoyed the cookie on a backcountry ski outing.
